Hi guys,

please share your tips on how to relax, as I have a feeling there has to be a better way.
Here's the thing: I work, and I work a lot. With my brain. At the end of the day, my mind is completely worn and I need some kind of relaxation.
Some days I exercise or go climbing, but the body needs rest, too (otherwise I'd end up overtrained). Some days I socialize, but I also need some time to be alone.

When I'm tired, mentally, physically and socialy, those are the days I usually just end up in front of my computer, wasting the whole evening browsing memes and watching porn. Somehow that helps, but I don't really feel good about it.

Do you have any tips? What do you do, when you need to recharge energy?
Or is there any good article you can recommend?

Meditation. Reading. Music. A girl to massage you or just be with you. A glass of wine if you need it.

What I personally try to aim for is elevating my level of consciousness in all my health practices. When you're tired these can be sometimes difficult to maintain but once the habit is there it's second nature.

Most importantly I'd recommend meditation and reading. If you're really tired then read something of a lighter fare.

I personally do my best to stay away from social media, porn, and petty internet time wasting as like you point out it doesn't actually make you feel good but is more or less a low quality distraction.

I work in tech field, so I was in your situation a while ago. In psychology, there are left-brain activities and right-brain activities. When you overuse the left-brain, it will get tired, while your right brain want to do something.
The best thing is rotating between left brain activities and right brain activities. My day look like this:
8a - 10a: Class (left/right brain)
10a - 12p: Work (left brain)
12p - 1p: Lunch (relax both brain)
1p - 2p: Class (left/right brain)
2p - 4p: Pick up girls (right brain)
...
and so on.

"browsing memes and watching porn": I did have this problem pre-pickup day. But when I got into pickup, I noticed that the day I went out to pickup girls, I didn't watch porn at all.
So I thought, "Heck, if I'm going to waste time, I'm going to waste time talking to girls rather than watching porn."
Then I picked up girls every day, and porn problem disappeared altogether.
