Hey GC squad,
I recently met a cute girl at a bar and we made out there, but logistics didn't work for her coming home with me that night. Instead, she gave me her number and said she "would be happy to come over any other night". She was super excited to meet me, so I figured it was in the bag. I texted her later that night and this is how the conversation went:
Me: hey [name], it was nice meeting you tonight =) -seth
Her: Hey, that made my night. Get home safe
Me: glad to have helped. did you get home okay?
Her: Waiting for an Uber now, we've been in McDonald's hah
--next day--
Me: haha nice. does [date] work for you inter terms of coming up to [my location]?
no reply
I am wondering what I did wrong with my last text there and why I lost her. Did I try to resume things too quickly where we had left off? AKA, should I treat texting a girl that I met at a bar as if I were starting out from scratch?
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for future reference
-Seth
