Asking out a girl at work

Hey guys,
How would you reccomend i ask a girl out at work,since chase reccomends persisting,however what is the line between persisiting and being pushy(read:harrasment)
Say if i ask a girl to go for cofee with me after work and she refuses initially but gives in to pressure after a few tries is it harrasment or what? How would you know if she's genuinely declining.
Most people I've talked to have said ask her, if she refuses ,move on.

If you can manage to be persistent in a funny way, it could work. Otherwise you're just boring her and she might give without any romantic intention just to get rid of the annoyance. Given that she's already told you no, it's probably not worth the effort.

If you work together, I wouldn't.

You need to treat her like she was just another one of the guys. If you asked one of your guy buddies to join you for lunch, would you treat it any different? If you are still determined to do this (Dating girls you work with is stupid) that's the only way it's gonna work. Do a group thing where you all go before you try to go all "Isolated Casanova".
