Who should be our Skilled Seducer for May 2024?

Last month @Bloom was the top pick, with his raft of great lay reports. My interview with Bloom as our Skilled Seducer of the Month for April is here.

Who's your pick for May's Skilled Seducer? Who had the best contributions, most impressive lays, or made the biggest splash in seduction this month (April 2024)?

====

Here's our criteria:

Some potential criteria (things you might want to nominate a guy as your pick for):

  • This member has posted a particularly impressive LR or multiple good LRs
  • This member has shared some great value-giving tactics, mindsets, or strategy posts
  • This member has been active in the community and contributed tons of value
  • Anything else where the member is adding lots of value, helping, inspiring, innovating, etc.

The way I'd like to do this for now (and maybe we'll come up with more sophisticated ways later) is just to run a thread on the forum like this and get suggestions and votes from guys. You can vote with something as simple as

Seducer Name

... but if you want to provide more details for why you think your pick should be the "Skilled Seducer of the Month", by all means please do.

A few stipulations:

  1. Popularity is going to count for something, but not for everything. If we get 7 votes for Steve PUA because he's really cool and nice, and 5 votes for Jack Seducer for his three impressive LRs + two innovative posts he shared over the past month, it's probably going to be Jack Seducer who gets the nod.

  2. I'd like to avoid doing staff members for at least the first few months. I don't want to launch a new contest and then right away name Hector, Alek, or myself as the winner. That's just cheesy and looks weirdly nepotistic. This isn't "honor someone who blah blah whatever over the past" it's "honor someone who's been especially excellent/value-giving/innovative/etc. over this past month."
So: who in your opinion is the Seducer who's contributed the most, had the most impressive lays, or provided the most value in whatever ways you think are relevant over the past month?

I vote for @fog, the guy's read on sticking points or general FU is on a different level, proactive in action-taking. A bit away from the light of the forum. engage with people who need help very often. If an interview with him goes down, you could drill deep into the technical materials,

understands nuance psychology, niche archetypes, Kinesiology, etc

Similar to OG @Carousel outlook on game and psychology

I second this, I'd love to see an interview with @fog. I derived a LOT of inspiration from his journal, and it was actually the reason I originally created this account for the forum. His game and reflective style of writing is similar to @Bloom, and he created many interesting gambits that I've borrowed for inspiration (the "social butterfly" group opener, which is like Gunwitch's high energy opener combined with an immediate emotional stimulator, is brilliant).

Hi, I find fog great in general as well. @Swati is absolutely on point about how fog is good at identifying sticking points and stages. Probably one of our most technical members.

+1 to this... totally agree with the niche archetype and sticking point analysis.

Especially the niche archetype stuff. Ever since my experiment I've found out how effective niche archetypes are useful in calibration. Seeing him breakdown different archetypes in FU reports is refreshing...

And I feel it's one of those hidden nuance areas that can take progress someone's seduction faster and smoother.

Another thing why I enjoy reading upcoming seducers just as much as masters is it brings a fresh and interesting perspectives.

As I've always said masters can tend to be stuck in a particular way or may not have the direct infield experience an upcoming seducer would have today...

Which makes upcoming seducers a plus because they tend to be more open and flexible with their approach.

A trait which @fog embodies beautifully. I believe there's more untapped potential In the way he analyses sticking points and breaks down seduction from a niche archetype perspective

All right, seems like more or less unanimous agreement for @fog (except for @Skills... ever the contrarian!).

I'll reach out to fog. He'll be our pick for May, assuming he is down for an interview.

Off topic:
@Chase we could have a wall with the names of each SOTM when the year ends and stick it in the community board

I like this idea. Let me have a little think about where a "wall" block would fit on the forum... everything gets tricky when you have to design for mobile first (as we do, these days, since everyone uses their phones for everything).

I can set up the stickied community post now though.

Well fellas, unfortunately @fog is unable to accept and can't do an interview for now.

However, he has thrown his vote in for @Kvothe to take his place, same vote as @Marcellus.

Kvothe's made some remarkable progress and he's been taking the game seriously and showing results from it.

I think he's as good a fit as any for May's Skilled Seducer of the Month.

So, Kvothe, the award moves to you!
